Explore Ancestry Library Edition and learn more about your family history!

Ever wanted to learn more about your family history? Explore the real records made available through Ancestry Library Edition, a special version of Ancestry.com. Explore the best ways to search, the types of records you may come across, and how to weave your family history together! You can also save your records to your computer to view later.

  • Please note:
    • All attendees may bring a personal device (laptops are recommended) that they are comfortable using to browse the internet and save files.
    • Attendees are also welcome to share a device with a friend, partner, or neighbor during the workshop.
    • You will connect your device to the SBPL Public WIFI to browse Ancestry Library Edition.
    • This is a hands-on workshop, and registration for yourself and/or guests is required due to seating capacity

Important: Due to licensing rules, Ancestry Library Edition is only available at SBPL on the SBPL Public WIFI. If anyone would like to browse records at home, please feel free to browse HeritageQuest Online.
