Learn to search smarter with search engines and AI assistants, craft better prompts, evaluate information, and verify sources, in the age of AI.

Together we will explore a variety of search engines and AI assistants, learn basic prompt engineering techniques, evaluate the reliability of the information you find, identify misinformation, and develop strategies to verify AI- generated and web-based results.

We will also discuss the limitations of LLMs, and find ways to cut through the noise and find your information quickly. 

This hands-on workshop will help you find better answers and make more informed, secure decisions online.

Laptops will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you would like. This class assumes at least basic computer skills including opening apps and using websites. Please email info@sbpl.info or call the Information desk at 732-329-4000 ext. 7286 with any questions.
