Join the South Brunswick Commission on Women on October 25 for our annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk, bringing our community together to raise awareness, support survivors, and encourage conversations that can make a difference. The event will feature speakers from nonprofit organizations that work directly with individuals and families affected by domestic violence, including Women Aware and CASA of Middlesex County. Attendees will learn about available resources, the impact of domestic violence on families and children, and ways we can support those affected. One of the most meaningful parts of the program is hearing directly from survivors who courageously share their experiences and perspectives. Their voices help bring greater understanding to an issue that often remains hidden.
Following the program, we will walk together as a community to show our support for survivors and raise awareness about domestic violence. We invite individuals, families, community organizations, and neighbors of all ages to join us. Come listen, learn, walk, and stand together for a safer and more supportive community.
