The Christopher J. Killmurray Building
Smartboard, Learning LabJoin us to watch, read, and discuss book adaptations across all genres!
Is the book always better than the movie? Does the movie add something missing from the book? Is TV the best medium for a book adaptation? All these questions and more will be explored as we watch, read, and discuss our favorite stories that made their way from the page to the screen!
Our first meeting will focus on the 1986 film Stand By Me, directed by Rob Reiner and based on the novella The Body by Stephen King.
If there is a disability accommodation that would enable you to participate more fully in this program, please let us know with as much notice as possible by calling the information desk at (732) 329-4000 ext. 7286, and we will do our best to help you.
