Charles will be bringing in some of his homebrewing equipment, some ingredients and lots of knowledge! 

Followed by a brief demo on roasting your own coffee beans with coffee, dessert & social time for those who'd like to stay.

Speaker Bio:

Charles Nouwen is a Belgian Master in Brewing and Malting science. He is a brewing industry professional with more than 20 years experience with the brewing giant ABInbev.

After spending his first 10 years based in Belgium, brewing awarded beers and developing new ones for brands like Leffe, Hoegaarden, Stella -Artois, he moved to UK then to USA with his family. Always looking for opportunities to learn, he travelled all continents to meet experts, consult with local teams and grow his passion for beer.

From the smallest craft to the largest breweries, Charles has plenty of experience and leadership in quality, operations, innovation and education.

In 2022 he decided to write a new chapter in his professional journey and founded Peer to Beer LLC in Plainsboro NJ to deliver expert advices and support to the Beverage industry.

Charles is also an Advanced Cicerone® (Beer Sommelier), avid homebrewer, beer judge in international competitions and beer writer!
