Stop by the Information Desk today to pick up a free Adult Craft Kit to make a glass suncatcher using markers (not included). While supplies last, one per adult.
Fun adult craft project up for grabs while supplies last!
On NJ Makers Day, Saturday March 26, the second Adult Craft Kit will be available for take-away at the Information Desk. Limit one per adult. Supplies limited.
Today's kit includes a beveled glass tile that can be turned into a glass suncatcher (or an ornament) using permanent markers, such as Sharpies, or window glass markers, like the inexpensive ones made by Crayola that you can find online, at Target or at local craft stores. Please note: Markers are not included in the kit. Glass markers are not permanent so they can be washed off and you can reuse the tile and change the design.
The kit includes complete instructions, patterns you can trace onto the tile and tassels and a hook for hanging in a window. Suggestions inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright stained glass windows or colorful paintings by artists like Piet Mondrian or Sol LeWitt will be included or you can draw and color your own design.
