Friends TheatreBlue Jersey Band explores the transatlantic exchange of musical ideas that led to the blossoming of new genres, including Bluegrass and "Gypsy" Jazz
Blue Jersey Band takes you on a musical journey across the Atlantic Ocean.
Part One of our show is about the migration of traditional British Isles music to America, leading to the birth of bluegrass.
Part Two of our show is about American jazz migrating to Europe to become what is known as Gypsy Jazz.
Authentic musical arrangements are performed on guitars and mandolin.
