South Asian bodies typically store fat in ways that are different from other ethnicities. Learn about fat and health, and how to lower your risk of illness through exercise targeted to your body type.
This workshop discusses fat distribution patterns common in South Asian bodies, including higher visceral fat at lower BMIs and the limits of BMI alone. Participants will learn how evidence-based exercise can reduce metabolic risk, with a focus on sustainable, practical movement specific to South Asian bodies.
