A relaxed, guided workshop to to make your computer or phone feel less cluttered. Learn simple steps to keep your devices organized and easier to use.
Organizing your digital life can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. In this relaxed, hands on workshop, we will guide you step by step through simple ways to clean up your computer, smartphone, or tablet. Together, we will practice creating file systems, moving and renaming files, and clearing out clutter in your downloads and desktop or home screen. You'll learn how to sort and manage photos on your device, make albums, and safely delete unneeded photos. We'll also spend time cleaning up our email, finding old messages, unsubscribing from unwanted lists, and using basic tools like folders and labels.
You will have time to work directly on your own device with the help of a librarian and will leave the workshop with more confidence and control over your digital life.
