Experience the harmony of Makhelat Hamercaz Jewish Choir of Central New Jersey with David Schlossberg.
They come from West Windsor and Plainsboro, New Brunswick and Freehold, Matawan and Manalapan. Every Sunday, they travel from around central New Jersey to join their voices in song, creating a community through music. The Jewish community choir Makhelat Hamercaz — meaning “singers from the center” in Hebrew is a group of about 50 members. They sing a wide variety of Jewish liturgical and secular music including classical, jazz, pop and folk tunes. The repertoire includes music from different centuries and in different languages.
Join us for free live music every other Sunday afternoon.
