Join William Smith as he discusses blocking out stressful triggers, finding peace by living in the current moment and all that is possible by incorporating a simple time tested meditation technique.

How can we find inner peace within ourselves through meditation? Join William Smith, Retired Army Lt. Colonel  as he explores the aspect of going within rather than without! He will discuss the blocking out of stressful triggers, finding peace by living in the current moment and all this is possible by incorporating a simple time tested meditation technique. There will even be a short meditation sitting. This can help us achieve a lasting state of peace and happiness found through no outer experience.

William Smith, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel engineer, has a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of South Carolina. As an Army officer, he pioneered this new technology within the Department of Defense. William is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and has held many leadership positions during his successful 20-year military career.
William has always been passionate about meditation which he has  incorporated in his life for over 50 years.  Since retiring he has spent a lot of time volunteering as a summer camp director for 22 years; teaching children how to meditate and inspiring them to incorporate ethical living into one’s life.
He has taught numerous classes on this important topic to a variety of audiences. William enjoys traveling and giving talks on meditation in the US and internationally.
