Take it or leave it at SBPL's craft supply swap 

Join us for a delightful gathering of crafters and creators at our Craft Supply Swap event! This is your chance to declutter your craft stash and discover new treasures—all while fostering a sense of community and creativity. 

What you need to know: 

The Day of the Event: 

  • Explore & Exchange: Peruse the tables filled with an array of crafting goodies. Feel free to pick out items that spark your interest and creativity.
  • Share & Connect: Engage with fellow crafters, swap stories, and share tips and tricks. Who knows? You might even find a new crafting buddy!
  • Take Home New Treasures: Leave with a refreshed stash of supplies ready to breathe new life into your crafting endeavors. Don't forget to bring your own bag!

Event Highlights:

  • Free Admission: This event is completely free and open to all craft enthusiasts, regardless of skill level. No need to donate supplies!
  • Community Spirit: Connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for creativity and DIY projects.
  • Sustainable Crafting: By participating in the swap, you're not only acquiring new supplies but also contributing to a more sustainable approach to crafting by reusing and repurposing materials.

Let's come together to celebrate the joy of crafting and the art of sharing! We can't wait to see you at our Craft Supply Swap.

The Drop Off: 
On Monday, September 30 from 10-5 and Tuesday, October 1 from 10-9pm at the IS Desk, please donate your unwanted craft supplies. Some examples of what you can donate include new or gently used craft supplies donations including, but certainly not limited to:

MARK MAKING: inks, pencils, paints, brushes, pastels, erasers, chalks, charcoals, markers

FIBER: yarn, fabric, thread, embroidery supplies, knitting needles/crochet hooks, thread, patterns, ribbon, quilting tools, dressmaking, sewing machines, sewing notions

TOOLS: scissors, glue guns, soldering irons, craft knives, hole punches, easels, photo equipment, pottery tools, rulers

SUBSTRATES: canvas, watercolor paper, drawing paper, scratch boards, panels, sketchbooks, construction paper, newsprint

EXPENDIBLES: glue, tape, butcher paper, sandpaper, cotton swabs, toothpicks, popsicle sticks, google eyes,

CRAFTS: beads, jewelry findings, containers of all sorts, artificial flowers, foam, felt, scrapbooking supplies, stamps, ink pads,


All items should be clean, or gently used, and in the original packaging. If the original packing isn’t available, place donated items in a clean zip lock bag. Please, no partial bottles of glue, glue-type liquids, spray paint, or paint thinners or additives.
