Come join us at the SB Community Center after storytime for a talk with experts from CJ Family Health Consortium on navigating the ins and outs of tantrums, whining and other challenging behaviors.

During early childhood, a great amount of social-emotional development occurs. As kids experience temper tantrums, moodiness, and an expanding social world, learning about their emotions and navigating through them can be a challenge for them, and for those that care for them. Dealing with tantrums can be stressful for caregivers and often leaves us wondering what to do.

How can understanding the "why" behind the behavior help us support our children's big feelings? Together we will explore what these behaviors are communicating and offer helpful strategies to comfort your child when they are having a difficult time. Learn how to help your child build the foundation for emotional regulation, while learning tools to manage your own emotions while guiding your child.

Please join us for this engaging talk, designed to help you promote the skills that will set your child up for success, now and in the future.
